WHO AM I?
Hello! I am Miss. Belle and I am the owner and operator of Chicken Little Child Care! I am a mother myself and understand the uncertainty and stress that comes with choosing someone to care for your child and ultimately be a part of your child's life. I run my childcare business from my home because Family Child Care is an incredibly personal and emotional occupation. It allows me to get closer to my children and really get to know their individual personalities. (One of my favorite parts of my job!) It also allows me the ability to customize our lessons to include extra activities and programming that are not found elsewhere, like our hands-on Chicken Coop!
I believe that all children should be encouraged to discover their individual talents and what makes them unique. Nurturing each child's interest is what helps them become strong solid people who respect themselves and others. My main objective is to provide a positive, nurturing atmosphere that promotes the social, physical, intellectual, and emotional growth of each individual child. My desire is to enhance the self-worth of the children under my care by using positive guidance techniques and introducing a state of mindfulness.
I enjoy bringing my love of art, dance, outdoors, healthy foods, mindfulness, and
exploration to children. Hands-on activities and real-life experiences are key to
empowering others to be confident in their choices. I like to focus on the process
instead of the end result helping to grow the self esteem of each child that enters
my home. I take significant pride in how our program works to instill personal
honor and dignity in children, encourage lifelong curiosity, create healthy habits,
and prepare children for the educational environments that will follow.
I currently hold an Adult/Child/Infant First Aid/CPR/AED certificate, Illinois Food Handler certification, and ECE Level 1 credential. Being a life-long learner myself, I actively continue to develop my knowledge in the Early Childhood Education field by attending conferences and trainings throughout the year.
Enough about me! I would love to get to know you and your family! If you would like more information or would like to schedule a tour, click the get in touch button below!
