We currently have 6 laying hens in our backyard coop. Before children are allowed to interact with our chickens an animal waiver must be signed and on file. Children will have opportunities to feed the chickens by throwing scratch - a mix of seeds and legumes, and various sprouts and micro greens that we have grown ourselves.
